  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 or 3 Tbsp. Crisco oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 lb. round steak
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Combine flour, salt and pepper.

    Put this mixture on both sides of steak.

    Preheat electric frypan to 350°.

    Put oil in skillet and brown steak on both sides.

    Lower heat to 260° and cook 10 more minutes, turning occasionally.

    Place steak on platter.

    Add milk to skillet slowly, stirring constantly.

    Cook until thickened.

    Pour over steak and serve.
