  • 1 chicken, boiled, deboned
  • 1 pkg. (1 doz.) tortillas (corn), quartered
  • 1 lb. Longhorn cheese, sliced or grated
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 small can green chiles, chopped
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c. milk or chicken broth

Directions

    Mix together onion, green chiles, mushroom soup, chicken soup and milk or chicken broth.

    Mix together in pan.

    Layer a large casserole or 2 small ones:

    quartered corn tortillas, chicken, liquid mixture, cheese (end with cheese on top).

    Refrigerate for 24 hours.

    Bake at 325° for 1 hour, uncovered.

    May be frozen before cooking.

    Allow longer baking time.
