- 1 container chicken livers
- 1 onion (optional)
- 1 can sliced mushrooms
- flour
- salt and pepper
- Mrs. Dash
- garlic
- sour cream
- 1 c. hot water
Directions

1In an iron skillet, fry liver slightly.

2Do not overfry.

3(Mix flour, salt, pepper and garlic salt in a bowl).

4Roll chicken livers until covered; then fry.

5Add onion until tender (chopped). After hot and onions are tender, add 1 can drained mushrooms. Heat until hot; sprinkle flour into mixture and stir as if you're making gravy.

6Add Mrs. Dash.

7While hot, stir in hot water until smooth and thick.

8Add more water, if too thick.

9Simmer about 15 minutes.

10Serve on rice or toast, or by itself.
