  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 3 lb. chicken parts
  • 3 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 lb. (about 16) small white onions
  • 1 medium clove garlic, minced

Directions

    In a large skillet, brown chicken in shortening.

    Pour off fat.

    Stir in remaining ingredients.

    Cover and cook over low heat for 45 minutes or until tender.

    Stir now and then.

    Uncover and cook until desired consistency.

    Serve with buttered noodles. Serves 6.
