Chicken Marsala

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1 (7 ounce) can mushrooms
  • 16 ounces boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 13 cup marsala wine
  • 23 cup chicken broth
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 dash pepper

Directions

    Cut the onion into wedges.

    Heat oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, and saute onion, garlic and mushrooms.

    Lightly salt and pepper the chicken and add it to the skillet, cook 5 minutes on each side.

    Mix the chicken broth and cornstarch together, and add to the skillet.

    Reduce heat to low and simmer until the chicken is done.
