  • 1 fryer or 4 chicken breasts
  • salt, pepper and paprika
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 c. rice
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained (add water to make 1 1/2 c.)
  • 1/2 c. Sauterne wine

Directions

    Melt butter in casserole with rice, soup mix, mushrooms and liquids.

    Place chicken, skin side up, over rice and cover with foil.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

    Remove foil last 15 minutes.
