Ingredients

  • 1 cooked chicken (save broth)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • 1 pound Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 can green chilies, minced
  • 1 jar salsa
  • 1 pkg. flour tortillas, cut in 1 inch strips

Directions

    Skin and bone chicken.

    Tear into bite-size pcs.

    Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan, cover bottom of pan with chicken broth.

    Mix above ingredients, except tortillas and cheese.

    Layer in the following order: tortilla strips, mix, grated cheese.

    Repeat, ending with cheese.

    Chill, covered for 24 hrs.

    Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour.

    Great served with tossed salad and bread!
