  • 2 1/2 to 3 lb. fryer chicken, cut up
  • 1/2 c. olive or vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped

Directions

    Place chicken pieces in ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Mix remaining ingredients and pour over chicken.

    Cook uncovered in 375° oven, spooning oil mixture over chicken occasionally, for 30 minutes.

    Turn chicken; cook until thickest pieces are done, about 30 minutes more.
