Chicken Paprikas

  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. paprika
  • 2 c. chicken stock
  • 1 cut up fryer
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. sour cream

Directions

    Heat oil and butter in Dutch oven.

    Add onion and paprika; cook until brown.

    Stir in salt and chicken stock; bring mixture to a boil.

    Add chicken and reduce heat.

    Simmer 45 minutes or until tender.

    Stir together flour and sour cream and stir into chicken mixture.

    Heat through, but do not boil.

    Serve with dumplings (or rice).
