- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 1 tablespoon sweet Hungarian paprika
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 6 chicken legs, with the thighs attached
- 1 12 cups chicken broth or 1 12 cups water
- 12 pint sour cream
- 12 pint sweet cream or 12 pint half-and-half
Directions

1In a large soup pot or dutch oven,brown onion in oil.

2Add chicken and brown the skin.

3Add seasonings to the chicken and stir.

4Add broth and cover.

5Simmer until chicken is tender.

6Remove chicken.

7Add sour cream and sweet cream to the pan drippings and mix well.

8Add the chicken back to the pan to keep warm.
