- 2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut up
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 Tbsp. paprika
- 1 small hot pepper
- salt and pepper
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1Saute onion and garlic in butter or oil.

2Add chicken and brown a little.

3Add paprika, hot pepper, salt and pepper.

4Cover with water.

5Simmer slowly until fork-tender, about 1 hour.

6Cook until thick.

7Add sour cream.

8Remove from fire.

9Put chicken back in gravy.

10Serve with noodles or rice.
