- 4 chicken halves
- 4 c. water
- salt
- 5 chopped mushrooms
- 1 carrot, peeled, quartered and diced
- 1/2 c. garden peas
- 1 small onion
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. warm water
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook chicken breasts in 4 cups of water and salt. Bring to a boil.

2Reduce heat.

3Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.

4Remove meat from bone and set aside.

5Reserve 2 cups of broth.

6Combine next 4 ingredients and salt and pepper; cook in reserved broth, stirring constantly (cook on medium heat until it comes to boil).

7Dissolve cornstarch in warm water.

8Pour into vegetables.

9Add chicken. Pour into double crust pie shell.

10Perforate the top crust.

11Cook 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
