  • 1 (3 lb.) whole fryer, boiled and cut into chunks
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can chicken broth (use broth from boiled chicken; measure in soup can)
  • 3 small potatoes, diced
  • 3 carrots, diced
  • 3 ribs celery, diced
  • 1 (16 oz.) can English peas, drained
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 c. self-rising flour

    Cook vegetables until tender; drain.

    Combine vegetables with chicken, soups, broth and peas.

    Pour into a greased 13 1/2 x 8 1/2-inch baking dish.

    Combine flour, milk and butter.

    Pour over other ingredients.
