- 3 c. cooked, diced chicken
- 3 c. chicken stock
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- salt and pepper
- paprika
- nutmeg
- 1 small can drained peas
- about 3 carrots, sliced
- 1 small, diced onion
- a few stalks celery, diced
Directions

1Melt butter in a large skillet.

2Add flour and cook 3 minutes. Add stock very slowly, stirring constantly.

3Season with salt, pepper, paprika and nutmeg.

4Add chicken, a small can of drained peas plus carrots, onion and celery (slice about 3 carrots, 1 small onion and a few stalks celery.

5Boil until tender, then drain and add to chicken) or can use frozen peas and carrots, boiled with onion and celery.

6Pour mixture into deep dish pie plate and top with pie crust.

7Bake at 375° until brown.
