  • 1 large fryer or hen, boiled
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 can cream of celery or chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 c. broth
  • 1 stick melted margarine
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Remove chicken from bone and cut into bite-size pieces; place in a well-greased casserole dish.

    Sprinkle chopped onion and celery over chicken.

    Mix soup, 1 stick of melted margarine and 1 cup self-rising flour into a smooth paste; then add 1 cup of milk and mix well.

    Pour mixture over chicken and bake at 350° for about 1 hour or until golden brown.
