- 1 fryer, cut up
- 2 1/2 pt. cold water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 hard-boiled eggs
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- 1 stick margarine
- 4 c. chicken broth
- 2 pastry crusts
Directions

1Cook fryer until tender.

2Cool and remove skin and meat from bones.

3Save broth.

4Melt butter in a saucepan and add flour. Stir over heat until golden brown and add broth.

5Cook until medium; add chicken and pepper.

6Slice eggs and add to chicken mixture.

7Cook 3 to 5 minutes.

8Pour into pastry crust and put on a top crust.

9Bake at 425° for 35 to 40 minutes.
