- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. chopped nuts (optional), recommended: small pkg. almonds
- 1 stick margarine (room temperature)
- 1 c. milk
- 1 hen or 6 breasts
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 1 can cream of celery soup
Directions

1Cut the margarine into the flour.

2Add milk.

3Stir to remove lumps.

4This will be soupy.

5Cook chicken and debone. Cut into chunks.

6Season to taste.

7Mix broth and soup.

8Stir in chicken. Pour into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

9Pour the crust mixture evenly over chicken mixture.

10Do not stir.

11Bake at 350° until crusty and brown (about 1 1/2 hours).
