  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 2 c. diced chicken
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 2 cans peas and carrots

    Make cream sauce of butter, flour, salt, pepper, broth and milk.

    This will be thin.

    Add chicken and drained peas and carrots.

    Put in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Make pie crust; roll thin and cut out like biscuits. Place on top of chicken mixture. Bake at 425° for 30 minutes.
