Ingredients

  • 2 potatoes, diced
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and diced
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 to 3 c. boned, diced chicken
  • 1 small can LeSueur peas
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 stick margarine, melted

    Precook the first 4 ingredients until tender.

    Add chicken and peas and pour into large casserole dish.

    Mix soup and chicken broth.

    Pour over chicken mixture.

    Combine flour, milk and the melted margarine.

    Stir well until most lumps are gone.

    Pour over the chicken and vegetable mixture.

    Do not stir.

    Cook at 400° until brown and bubbly.
