- 1 stewing chicken
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 3 c. carrots, sliced
- 3 c. cubed potatoes
- 1 can LeSueur peas, drained
- 1 large onion, chopped
Directions

1Boil chicken with water and add margarine, onion, salt and pepper until chicken comes off bones. Drain chicken and cut into cubes.

2Using broth, add enough water to make liquid totaling 6 cups.

3Add potatoes and carrots. Boil 10 minutes.

4Make pie crust. Layer the chicken and vegetables over the bottom crust.

5Add the peas last.

6Using 4 cups broth and 1 cup flour, stir with whisk until there are no lumps and cook until thickens.

7Pour over vegetables in pie.
