- 1/2 c. margarine or cooking oil, melted
- 4 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 1 c. milk
- 2 or 3 c. diced, cooked chicken
- salt and pepper
- 1 (16 oz.) can mixed vegetables, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can green peas, drained
Directions

1Combine butter and flour in saucepan over low heat and brown lightly.

2Slowly add chicken broth and milk until smooth and thickened.

3Stir in chicken, mixed vegetables and peas.

4Pour in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.

5Roll pastry real thin; cut in 1/2-inch strips.

6Arrange in lattice design over chicken mixture. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes until golden brown.

7You can make 2 layers of lattice on mixture.
