- pastry for 2 crust pie
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. plain flour
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 3 c. cubed chicken
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas and carrots
Directions

1Cook and drain peas and carrots.

2Cook and cube chicken.

3Cook onions in butter until tender, but not brown.

4Blend in flour and 1 teaspoon salt.

5Add broth all at once.

6Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.

7Add remaining ingredients.

8Heat until bubbly. Pour into pie shell.

9Cover with top pastry.

10Bake at 350° until brown.

11Make 2 pies with deep dish pie shell or use individual pot pie shell.
