- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped carrots
- 1/3 c. butter
- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 1 c. half and half
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 c. chopped chicken
- Basic Pastry
Directions

1Saute onion, celery, carrots and butter for 10 minutes.

2Add flour.

3Stir well and cool 1 minute.

4Combine broth and half and half; stir into vegies.

5Cook over medium heat until bubbly.

6Stir in salt, pepper and chicken.

7Pour into casserole.

8Top with Basic Pastry.

9Bake at 400° for 40 minutes.
