Chicken Rice Bake

- 1 chicken, cut for frying or use only chicken breasts
- 1 stick oleo or butter
- 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 c. long grain rice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 4 chicken bouillon cubes
Directions

1Salt and pepper the chicken. Brown in oleo or butter.

2Saute the onion and pepper in oleo after removing chicken.

3Crush bouillon cubes with fork. Add to onion and pepper.

4Stir in rice. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1 1/2 cups water.

5Place in baking pan. Lay chicken on top of rice. Cover with foil. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
