Chicken Rice Soup

- 1 whole chicken, cut apart
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. rice, cooked
- 2 qt. water
- 3/4 c. celery, chopped
- dash of pepper
Directions

1In a large kettle, combine chicken, water, onion, celery, salt and pepper.

2Cook until chicken is tender, about 1 1/2 hours. Remove chicken from broth and pick meat from bone.

3Return to broth with rice.

4Heat thoroughly.
