- sliced white bread (1 large loaf), remove crust
- 1 c. diced green pepper
- 1 c. diced onion
- 1 c. diced celery
- 4 c. boiled chicken, cooked and cubed
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. grated cheese (sharp Cheddar)
- 3 c. milk
- 3 beaten eggs
- paprika
Directions

1Line 10 x 13-inch pan with bread.

2Saute onion, celery and pepper in butter.

3Combine with cooked chicken; add mayonnaise. Spread over layer of bread.

4Top with another layer of bread.

5Beat eggs and milk; pour over top.

6Pour mushroom soup over next.

7Top with grated cheese and paprika.

8Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until bubbly.

9Bake uncovered.
