- 1 whole chicken, cut up
- 1/2 head cabbage, shredded
- 1 large tomato
- 1 1/2 onions (set 1/2 chopped onion aside, put whole onion in soup unchopped)
- 3 Tbsp. oil
Directions

1Cut chicken into pieces; wash, then place in pan.

2Add 1 onion (whole) and cover with water.

3Add salt to taste and water.

4Cook for about 1 hour.

5In a saucepan, put 3 tablespoons of oil.

6When the oil is hot, add cut up tomato, cabbage and remainder of onions.

7Add salt to taste.

8Fry this mixture approximately 15 minutes.

9Add to chicken soup mixture and boil until cabbage is tender.
