- 3 lb. chicken
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 6 c. water
- 1 large celery stalk, chopped
Directions

1Cut chicken into serving pieces (wings, back and neck are delicious for soup).

2Place chicken in cooker with water, salt, celery, carrot and onion.

3Cook slowly until chicken leaves the bone.

4Thicken with 1 tablespoon flour mixed smoothly in three tablespoons water or serve thin.

5If too much cooking absorbs, add a cup or more hot water.
