  • 1 large fryer, boiled, deboned and cut up
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 large can evaporated milk
  • 2 cans green chilies, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 lb. sharp grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 pkg. tortillas

Directions

    Saute onion in butter.

    Add chilies and cook.

    Then add soup and milk and bring to a boil.

    Grease a large baking dish and line with buttered tortillas.

    Then make a layer of chicken and a layer of cheese.

    Pour milk mixture over this.

    Cover with more buttered tortillas and top with grated cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
