Ingredients

  • 3 lb. chicken, cut into chunks
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (8 oz.) can peeled and chopped tomatoes
  • 1 sprig rosemary or 1/4 tsp. dry seasoning
  • 1 c. dry white wine

Directions

    In Dutch oven or deep frying pan, heat butter and oil.

    Brown chicken adding salt and pepper on all pieces.

    Remove chicken and set aside.
