- all-purpose flour
- 1 (4 lb.) chicken, cut into pieces
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1/2 c. onions, chopped
- 3 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 c. water
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 black pepper
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 3 c. whole kernel corn
- 3 c. lima beans
Directions

1Flour the chicken.

2In a large stock pot, brown the chicken in oil.

3Add onions and cook until the onions are clear, stirring occasionally.

4Add tomatoes, water and seasoning.

5Cover and simmer until the chicken is almost tender.

6Take the chicken out of the stew and remove the bones and skin.

7Leave the chicken meat in fairly large pieces.

8Return the corn and lima beans. Continue cooking until vegetables are tender.
