Chicken Stroganoff

  • 12 lb bacon
  • 1 12 cups onions, chopped
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into 1/4 inch strips
  • 1 12 cups chicken broth
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon pepper
  • 14 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 4 cups egg noodles, cooked

Directions

    Cook bacon over medium heat until crisp; remove from pan and crumble.

    Add onion and chicken to drippings in pan and saute.

    Add bacon, broth, spices and garlic to chicken and bring to a boil.

    Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

    Combine sour cream and flour, stirring until smooth.

    Add sour cream mixture to pan and bring to a boil.

    Simmer for 2 minutes, stirring comstantly.

    Serve over egg noodles.
