Scrambled Egg Casserole

  • 2-1/2 cups Bread, Cubed, Divided
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 8 slices Crisp Bacon
  • 8 whole Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoons Lawry's Seasoned Salt
  • 1/2 pounds Swiss Or Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter

Directions

    Soak 2 cups of bread in milk. Fry and crumble bacon.

    Scramble eggs lightly in butter. Add soaked bread cubes and scramble lightly again. Add desired seasonings.

    Put in a greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle seasoned salt on top. Place cheese atop mixture.

    Saute remaining 1/2 cup unsoaked bread cubes with butter until brown. Sprinkle crumbs and bacon over cheeses.

    Bake at 400 F for 15 minutes or, if prepared a day ahead, bake at 350 F for 30 minutes.
