- 1 (3 to 4 lb.) disjointed chicken
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 lb. butter, melted
- 1 lb. cooking apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 c. Macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
- 2/3 c. apple cider
- 1 c. rice, cooked
Directions

1Sprinkle chicken with salt.

2Brown in butter in skillet. Remove chicken and butter into large baking dish.

3Mix apples with chicken.

4Sprinkle with sugar and nuts.

5Add cider; cover.

6Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes.

7Serve with mound of steamed rice.
