  • 1 (3 to 4 lb.) disjointed chicken
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 lb. butter, melted
  • 1 lb. cooking apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 c. Macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
  • 2/3 c. apple cider
  • 1 c. rice, cooked

Directions

    Sprinkle chicken with salt.

    Brown in butter in skillet. Remove chicken and butter into large baking dish.

    Mix apples with chicken.

    Sprinkle with sugar and nuts.

    Add cider; cover.

    Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes.

    Serve with mound of steamed rice.
