- 1 medium onion
- 1-inch piece of ginger
- 1 c. yogurt
- 2 Tbsp. cream
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- a few drops red food coloring
- 2 tsp. garam masala
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- salt to taste
- 1 chicken, skinned and cut up or 4 chicken joints or breasts
Directions

1Mince garlic, onion and ginger together.

2Mix yogurt and cream together, then add to minced onion mixture. Add remaining ingredients except the chicken.

3Cut each piece of chicken deeply like a tic-tac-toe game.

4Marinate with the mixture 7 to 8 hours or overnight.
