  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 3 (5 oz.) cans chicken
  • 1 1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • cornflakes
  • 1 1/2 c. (4 oz.) chopped or sliced, drained mushrooms
  • 1 can Pillsbury flaky buttermilk or Hungry Jack Butter Tastin' biscuits
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten

    Melt butter; blend in flour, salt and pepper.

    Add milk, all at once, and cook about 1 minute, until thickened.
