  • 1 1/3 lb. whole chicken breast
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. dry sherry
  • 1 tsp. grated ginger root
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 2 medium green peppers, cut in 3/4-inch pieces
  • 4 green onions, cut in 1-inch pieces
  • 1 c. walnut halves
  • hot cooked rice
