- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. baking powder
- 1/3 c. oatmeal
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. canned peaches
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In large bowl, mix first 4 ingredients. In small bowl, mix the sugar, shortening and vanilla.

3After stirring ingredients well, add sugar and shortening to flour mixture and stir.

4Grease square cake pan.

5Put 1 1/2 cups canned peaches in pan.

6Sprinkle with lemon juice.

7Sprinkle flour mixture over peaches and bake for 25 minutes.
