Ingredients
- 240 g chickpeas
- 240 g lentils
- 3 cups stock
- 4 cups water
- 2 onions, diced
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 7 g sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 60 g bacon, diced
- 1 tablespoon chili flakes
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
Directions

1Heat oil and cook carrot, onion, celery and bacon until they soften.

2Add cumin, chilli flakes, soy sauce and garlic.

3Add the chickpeas, the water and stock.

4Simmer for 30 minutes.

5Season with salt and pepper, sesame seeds and serve.
