- 2 1/4 c. cake flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 5 egg yolks
- 7 egg whites
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Directions

1Mix cake flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, water, extract, oil and egg yolks together for one minute.

2In separate bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff.

3Fold into batter. Bake in ungreased tube pan for 65 minutes at 325°.

4Invert pan on bottle until cool, as soon as removed from oven.
