- 1 c. flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. water
- vanilla or orange flavoring
- 4 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Directions

1Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff.

2In another bowl, mix all other ingredients, then fold into egg white mixture very gently.

3Place mixture into ungreased angel food pan and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

4When done, invert pan on funnel until cool.

5Very good with canned fruit or berries and whipped cream.
