- 1 lb fresh broccoli
- 1 red jalapenos or 1 fresno chile or 14 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 14 teaspoon salt
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425.

2Cut broccoli into florets.

3Remove stem and seeds and finely slice the chile.

4Cut 4 strips of zest from the lemon.

5In a roasting pan, toss broccoli, chile, and lemon zest with the oil.

6Spread into a single layer and sprinkle with the salt.

7Roast until broccoli is tender and starting crisp on its edges.

8Halve zested lemon and squeeze fresh juice (about a tablespoon) over cooked broccoli.
