- 2 (7 oz.) cans whole green chillies
- 1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. (13 oz.) evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. tomato sauce
Directions

1Soak chillies in cold water and remove seeds.

2Grate cheese. In 9 x 13-inch baking dish, place a layer of chillies across the bottom.

3Sprinkle grated cheese over the chilli layer.

4Beat eggs, flour, salt and milk; pour over cheese.

5Layer the rest of the chillies over the top.

6Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.

7Remove from oven and zigzag with tomato sauce over the top.

8Bake 5 minutes longer.
