Chile Rellenos Casserole

- 3 (4 oz.) cans green chiles
- 1/2 c. half and half
- 1/3 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Directions

1Split, seed and rinse chiles.

2Drain on paper towel.

3Beat eggs and flour, then beat in half and half.

4Mix cheeses together. Reserve 1/2 cup.

5In lightly greased 2-quart casserole, layer chiles, cheese and egg mixture, 3 layers.

6Pour tomato sauce over top and sprinkle reserved cheese on top.

7Bake in microwave on High 25 to 30 minutes.

8Let stand a few minutes before serving.

9Or bake at 375° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
