- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 c. grated carrots
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped plus juice
- 1 can (16 oz.) Brooks hot chili beans
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/4 c. catsup
- 8 oz. beer
- salt to taste
Directions

1Brown ground beef, onions and green pepper.

2Add carrots and stir for 2 to 3 minutes.

3Add chili powder, salt, catsup and beer; stir 1 minute.

4Add tomatoes and juice; cook low for 1 hour.

5Add beans and cook 1/2 hour longer.

6Cooked elbow macaroni may be added after cooking for Chili Mac and topped with Cheddar cheese slices.
