Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. kidney beans (15 oz. can)
  • 2 1/2 c. canned whole tomatoes (28 oz. can)

Directions

    Brown beef, then drain off fat and add onion and green pepper. Brown, then add other ingredients.

    Simmer 1 hour.
