- 2 lb. hamburger
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 cans water
- 1/2 c. chili pepper
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/4 tsp. comino
- 2 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 2 1/4 tsp. dry onion
- 2 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 tsp. paprika
- 2 tsp. red pepper
- 6 tsp. mesa
- 1/4 c. warm water
Directions

1Brown hamburger in skillet.

2Drain fat.

3Add tomato sauce. Stir in all ingredients except red pepper and mesa.

4Add red pepper.

5Cover and simmer 30 minutes.

6Stir occasionally.

7Stir mesa flour into 1/4 cup warm water to make a thick, but flowable, mixture.

8Add mesa mixture.

9Simmer 15 to 20 minutes more.
