Ingredients

  • 2 lb. fresh ground beef
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 3 oz. chili powder
  • 1 can red kidney beans, drained
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Brown ground beef and onions about 15 minutes.

    Add small amount of water.

    Cover and cook on low heat about 45 minutes. Add the tomato paste, catsup, chili powder, beans and salt to taste.

    Add enough water to make about 1/2 gallon of chili and cook 30 minutes longer.
