- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 3 large onions, chopped
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 small green pepper, chopped (optional)
- 2 cans kidney beans (optional)
- 2 heaping tsp. chili powder
Directions

1Brown beef; add onions and brown lightly.

2Add green pepper, tomatoes and salt to taste.

3Cook until tomatoes cook done; add water until soupy and cook slowly 1 1/2 hours.

4Place beans in pot with more water, if needed.

5Add chili powder and cook 1/2 hour more.
