  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 small can chili hot beans
  • 1 small can kidney beans
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 large can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Brown ground chuck, onion and celery in large skillet.

    Add salt, pepper and chili powder.

    Add both cans of beans and tomatoes.

    Simmer for 20 minutes, adding water as needed.

    Serve with cornbread or crackers.
